Wedding DJ cost, answered.
How much does a wedding DJ cost in Indianapolis?
With Signal House Pro, a DJ and emcee for your wedding reception in Indianapolis is $2,500. That includes a live DJ, a professional emcee, wireless microphones and a sound system tuned to your venue. If you'd rather play your own music, the sound system alone is $1,500. The full day, with ceremony sound, ceremony recording and uplighting, is $4,500.
What's the difference between the Sound System and DJ & Emcee?
With the Sound System ($1,500), I set up and tune professional speakers for your room and stay on site all night, and you supply the playlist. With DJ & Emcee ($2,500), I also DJ the reception and host the night: your grand entrance, toasts, first dance and announcements, with wireless microphones for speeches.
Do I need ceremony sound?
If you want every guest to hear your vows, readings and processional music, yes. Ceremony sound is a $1,000 add-on and includes microphones for your officiant and vows. Adding an audio recording of your ceremony brings it to $1,500 total.
How much is wedding uplighting?
Wireless uplighting is a $700 add-on to any reception package. It washes your venue's walls in color and is wireless, so there are no cords across the floor.
What's included in the Full Day package?
For $4,500 you get DJ and emcee for your reception, wireless microphones, wireless uplighting, ceremony sound, and an audio recording of your ceremony. Booked separately, those total $4,700.
Can you build a custom package?
Yes. If what you want isn't listed, like ceremony sound only or a setup for an unusual venue, tell me what you're picturing and I'll put together a price for it.
Are there hidden fees?
No. You'll get a clear, custom quote built around exactly what you want, confirmed in writing before you book.
